Dermaplaning

Are you ready to experience smooth and vibrant skin?
Dermaplaning immediately rejuvenates the skin by removing the outermost layer of dead skin cells and vellus (peach fuzz) hair. It is highly effective in minimizing the appearance of fine lines, wrinkles and acne scars while leaving the skin supple. It is great for prepping the skin prior to peels and enzyme treatments. The laser increases penetration of active ingredients in the treatment room and home care products.
How does it work?
Dermaplaning is the controlled scraping of the skin using a sterile surgical blade (10R) held at a 45-degree angle. This is for the removal of keratinized cells on the outer layer of the stratum corneum (epidermis) and vellus (peach fuzz) hair. It is a mechanical exfoliation that is extremely safe when performed by a professionally trained skin care specialist utilizing the appropriate tools for the service.

Dermaplaning can be performed on the face and sides of the neck. We do not dermaplane on the eyelids, throat, chest or back.
